CORE is a program that assists refugees and Special Immigrant Visa holders achieve self-sufficiency in the United States. The Culture Orientation Research decided to focus on a language that is not featured in the resource center but is still spoken worldwide: Urdu. Urdu is a language spoken in many South Asian countries, and CORE aimed to provide additional resources for those who speak the language since there is a severe lack of resources for this popular language.
